Material Types available in cloth, non-woven blanket, tape, rope, mesh or sleeve (except microporous as specified):
Silica – ongoing temperature protection up to 2000 F / 1090 C with additional treatments which increase capability to 2300 F / 1260 C
Basalt – ongoing temperature protection up to 1499 F / 815 C with one time use up to 1800 F / 982 C.
Fiberglass – “E” Type with ongoing temperature protection up to 1000 F. “S” type with ongoing temperature protections up to 1400 F.
Microporous – compacted mineral insulation in flexible panel, block or molded form, excellent to use when space and / or weight is limited with high R-Factor needed. Ongoing temperature protection up to 1800 F / 982 C depending on encapsulation used.
