Silica Insulation:

Aerospace performance grade woven cloth, needlefelt / batt material, or tape which retains long term flexibility and strength from 1800-2300 degrees F. Excellent short term performance in temperature spikes up to 3100 degrees F. Silica insulation has high mechanical and tensile strength for use in any industrial application.

Micropourous Insulation:

Aerospace performance grade compacted insulation in block or blanket format. Long term performance rated up to 1800 degrees F with one time short term spikes up to 2300 degrees F. Micropourous insulation is excellent for use when space is limited.

Basalt Insulation:

Basalt insulation has high mechanical and tensile strength in temperatures up to 1500 degrees F with short term spikes up to 1800 degrees F. Not available in woven cloth format. Superior in performance and lower in cost compared to other products targeting the same temperature range.

Combination Insulation:

Silica wrapped microporous insulation blankets. When space is limited and strength is needed, blankets of micropourous insulation wrapped with silica provide excellent heat protection and strength.

Fiberglass Insulation:

S Glass rated long term up to 1275 degrees F with short term spikes up to 1400 degrees F. E Glass rated long term up to 1000 degrees F with short term spikes up to 1150 degrees F.

Fabrication of insulation structures:

In addition to providing bulk insulation, our suppliers can provide finished structures customized to meet your specifications. Common applications are clamp, bolt, or weld-on metal insulation structures which the customer can incorporate into their assembly process with no manufacturing work needed.

The Consultation and Quote Process:

The process begins with an initial consultation between Surfis and the customer. After receiving the key information we will provide a recommendation on how to proceed. Quotes for bulk insulation can be made within 24 hours once the final specifications are completed. Quotes for manufactured structures can take up to 2 weeks depending on the complexity of the structure and supplier availability.
